I was able to enjoy Labor Day in Weddington at my old Karate instructor's house. He invited my wife and I over for a cookout, so we went down there. Of course, we had to get some training in before we ate, so we went upstairs to the small dojo he had built when he had his house built in 2015. We concentrated strictly on the basics (kicks, blocks and punches). I don't see him as much as I used to, but we still like to keep in touch.
