Happy Testing Week!

Dark, chilly, and early morning at the track! Woke up just before 5a.m. and was pumped with adrenaline. I'm really happy with my time, the 16 laps practically flew by and I ended up losing count after the 1st mile lol. Rode to Harrisburg with Ms. Jen and studied my written test and anatomy exam with her in the car. All of the physical requirements went really well for me as well as the written exams. I always appreciate a pep talk from Grandmaster Evins and any advice that the older instructors or masters have. Afterwards, Ms. Jen and I got a little pick-me-up sweet treat and headed to Lowe's to buy bricks for testing. Finally drive home to solidify my essays and hit submit; that felt so good! I did some requirements this afternoon but was honestly pretty exhausted so I didn't get to all of them. I am offically finished with miles, jump-rope, and sit-ups!! Just after 6p.m. Ms. Jen came over to have dinner with my family. So proud of her and all of you guys for pushing through black belt cycle. It is definitely physically, emotionally, and mentally challenging but you grow so much from it! ~ Peyton
