football routes

today i woke up like any other day but i was unusually awake so i got a head start. i got dressed, had pancakes, bacon, kix cereal, milk, and a protein shake. i got packed up and was at the bus 10 minutes early. i slept on the bus and enjoyed my free time by listening to new songs on my phone. in first block we read all the rest of "kaffir boy" except the last chapter, we will read that tomorrow. in second block we got changed out and did static and dynamic warm ups at the track, then we ran 3 laps which is roughly .8 miles on any track thats not the inner track. then we went to the practice field and we worked on football wide receiver routes and how to catch, how to cover a receiver, i always caught the ball and never let a catch happen when i was corner. in third block we reviewed what we had been learning yesterday and learned about the process of photosynthesis in plants, how a leaf is set up and how the inside is set up to work properly. in forth block we learned about early african civilization, near the sahara desert and trans-saharan trade routes, the early cities and leaders, and how important salt was as a source of food storage. i went home and did push ups, sit ups, burpees, and kicks. i then went to KTMH, master Justin tore his ACL saturday so he was on crutches and in a brace, but he still helped in class. we started working on kicks, then sparring drills on the bag, we went over each belts breaking strike, me and the other bo cho dans have improved on hurricane back kicks. then we went over knife self defense, even though im the only one that needs to know it, the others learned it too because they will have to learn it eventually and the more you know the better. we ended class with forms, i still find the basic and wang ho forms difficult because you must change your stances and re-chambering hand from normal forms. i went home and finished my push ups and sit ups, then did sparring rounds and jump rope rounds. then i took a shower and did homework, i only had a little bit of history homework. i then ate dinner and tried on my JROTC uniform, everything is there and fits, i only need to remember how to tie my very long tie. tomorrow i will dress out in it to school. cant wait!
