I had an awesome day today. I brewed my coffee early in the morning and walked around my neighborhood for a bit to enjoy the morning air and sunshine. I walked to the store to run some errands for my Pops and went to go pick up some groceries. As I was making my way back into the apartment my Pops text me and let me know that he needed a few more things from the store. I made a pit stop at the house relaxed for a little while to rest up. I left out an hour or so later to get the last few things we needed from the store. Well on the way back from the store bag in tow I had an experience I haven't had in quite some time. I was casually walking and happened to turn my perihelia vision just in time to see an elder vicious yard dog in full sprint towards my general direction. As I lowered my stance to engage we share a brief moment of neutrality before he ultimately gives into his primal urges first and latches onto my thrifted Nike. Thankfully the shoes integrity held I just pushed his jaws off my foot and gave him a quick bon bon so he backed off. I finally made my way back to the house to relax for the ingredients that I need to make dinner later. I was going to make my favorite mushroom risotto but after my light brush with becoming a menu item I opted for the customized frozen pizza. I'm relaxing with my dad watching some retro movies that randomly popped up into his head. I hope everyone had an excellent day today and look forward to being back at the Dojang tomorrow.
