I know it's been a while since I've written a journal entry since I have already written my 30, but I figured that it would be fitting to give an update since the overnight test is tomorrow. Lately at school I have been swamped with school work as it is nearing the end of the first quarter, and I have had to miss 2 cross country practices this week because of it. I know I have prepared as much as I could have for the test to tomorrow, but I am still very nervous about it because of how much this test means to me. I have wanted to become a black belt ever since I was little, long before I had even heard of King Tiger, and I just don't want to mess it up when I have my opportunity to succeed. Is it possible to over-practice for this? I don't really know. It also doesn't help that I am very much a perfectionist, and because of that I end up putting unnecessary pressure on myself to perform perfectly and I beat myself up if I don't. I am also quite nervous about sparring on Saturday since I never really have been good at it and asthma doesn't really help the situation. Good luck to all who are testing.
