hi guys, i honestly think i'm cursed. today started well with me finishing up all my requirements in the morning. then i was studying for a few hours and was working on my essays after. i had another shift today and as i'm driving back home i hear a big POP 😨. so i'm like oh what could that be but i don't pay any mind to it. as i keep driving i start hearing a thump thump thump, and then i'm like oh no its wraps. so i'm 5 minutes away from home so i was like ill just let my dad see if he can hear what i'm hearing. i pull up to my house and my dad was playing basketball at our hoop and he heard the sound of my car so he came over and took a look. there was a BIG FAT NAIL in it. the head of the nail was the size of a dollar coin. it was around 7:30 and all the tire shops closed at 8 so we decided to go there really quick so we could change the tire. and yes that may have not been the best idea because while my parents and i are driving there we hear another POP. and we were sure that the nail most definitely popped out the tire. we start seeing the tire pressure message pop up so we pull over on the side of the road. so first we called a tow truck and they said it would take 2 hours and we were like oh nahhhhh 😪. now we're looking in the trunk to see if we have a spare tire and we couldn't find it. then we called our neighbors to come pick up my mom and take her home but i wanted to stay to "experience this". then my dad and i were sitting in the car waiting and i opened the little compartment and get the car manual out and looked at the safety guide. it said that hybrid cars dont come with spare wheels and they come with a tire repair kit instead. so we tried to use that and it didnt work. and then i found a paper that says u get toyota care for up to 2 years free from when u buy the car. and this car is brand new we got it in january so we were like let's try this instead. so we called them and they came superrrrrr quick. once the tow truck came i started taking selfies with it behind me like a facebook mom. it was around 9:20 when i got home and our whole street came out to see what was happening cuz the truck made so much noise. anyways the nail is still in there so we're gonna have to take the wheel off the car and just take it to get fixed since we can't take the whole car. i know i basically yapped but this was definitely an experience!! 😃😃😃
