Today I was planning on waking up a little early, but
yesterday was my birthday so I slept a little late. It was fine though because after breakfast, I finished my physical requirements. I am not that good at jump rope but I’m doing my best. I started out with low plank in the beginning of the cycle but I found out you do high plank during testing so started doing that instead. It is a little harder though. Then I went to the gym to get my run in on the treadmill. I want to start running outside but it is extremely hot. I’m gonna try to start waking up earlier to get my run in before it gets too hot. My time has been improving a lot though so that’s good. I usually run 1.5 miles but I missed a day last week so I’m gonna run 1.75 this week so that I also don’t have to run an extra 0.5 after my 1 mile at the pre test this Saturday. I also finished my self defense at the gym. After I rested a little and ate, I went to my tae kwon do class where I was able to finish my poomsae time in. After I had a session with my mentor. We worked on the poomsae’s and self defense that I needed a little help on. We also practiced my turning kicks and my front roll. It was a good session. I need to work on my speed and balance in turning kicks and not being scared during rolls. I think I’m pretty prepared for my pre test. Then I went home, had a shower, and dinner and went to sleep. That was my day!
