Another night of color belt testing, it went well. There were a few moments where the student was nervous and had a case of the yips but a little direction or encouragement and they moved on. That's something to remember, your instructors and masters know you at tbis point...if you just make a mistake or are nervous, they can tell. Conversely, if you haven't prepared or simply don't know and are watching others...they can tell. So can your fellow testers. Everyone gets nervous or a little too hyped, just make sure that you have a foundation of strong work and lots of practice. I most definitely get the yips...working on relaxing those nerves.
